Mensa? Maybe.

I was recently thinking about joining Mensa. Well, I'd like to take an IQ test to show that I'm eligible for joining Mensa. In my quest for trying to find said tests, I found this one. I'm not really sure about some of these. They're completely opposite of me, and I was very honest on the test. Here's the results:

Educational Goal Statement Rough Draft

I was the first person in my family to go to college right after high school. I did not finish my degree, and since then my dad has finished his bachelor’s degree. I’ve been back in school off and on after being honorably discharged from the Marine Corps. I finally decided it was time to finish the degree and get into a career path.
I have been enrolled in two community colleges in Minnesota, and I recently graduated from North Hennepin Community College with an Associate of Arts degree. I started with the Law Enforcement program, but I jumped to the other program when I had the opportunity to participate in the L.E.T.O. program with the State Patrol. I also have a background in journalism from my time in the Marine Corps.
I would like to continue my federal service by joining the U.S. Marshal Service. Hence, the reason I’d like to study Criminal Justice and Sociology.
I would like for my degree to encompass some of the socioeconomic struggles facing those who end up as recidivistic offenders. It seems so much emphasis is placed on punishment of offenders instead of rehabilitation. I think there needs to be an understanding of what drives people to continue to offend. Sociology classes will help with that. I have been taking sociology classes through NHCC, and I found Families in Crisis to be one of the best classes I have taken so far.
I hope to gain an insight and the ability to understand what it takes to help with the rehabilitation process. I understand that no matter the amount of education a person receives that it is not a guarantee of understanding, but I hope to make a small difference.
My idea of an educated person is somebody who is empathetic, helpful and offers solutions instead of being a part of the problem. Being able to remember what was read and put it down on paper for a test does not prove to be a useful measure of education. It is what people choose to do with that ability and present it to the world in a useful manner.

Retribution

RETRIBUTION IS JUST A SHORT TIME AWAY!

Take a look at this and just remember elections in November 2010.

1. U.S. House & Senate have voted themselves $4,700 and $5,300 raises.
2. They voted to NOT give you a S.S. cost of living raise in 2010 and 2011.
3. Your Medicare premiums will go up $285.60 for the 2 years.
4. You will not get the 3% COLA: $660/yr.
5. Your total 2-yr loss and cost is -$1,600 or -$3,200 for husband and wife.
6. Over these same 2 years, each Congress person will get $10,000.

Do you feel BETRAYED?

Will your cost of drugs - doctor fees - local taxes - food, etc., decrease? NO WAY.

Congress received a raise and has better health and retirement benefits than you or I.

Why should they care about you or me?
You never did anything about it in the past did you?
Obviously they believe we are simply too stupid or just don't care.
Do you really think that Nancy, Harry, Chris, Charlie, Barney et. al. care about you?
Send the message to these individuals --- “YOU'RE FIRED!”
In 2010 you will have a chance to get rid of the sitting Congress: up to 1/3 of the Senate and 100% of the House! Make sure you're still mad in November 2010 and remind their replacements not to screw up. It is ok to forward this to your sphere of influence if you are finally tired of the abuse.

Maybe it's time for Amendment 28 to the Constitution.

"Congress shall make no law that applies to the citizens of the United States that does not apply equally to the Senators or Representatives, and Congress shall make no law that applies to the Senators or Representatives that does not apply equally to the citizens of the United States."

Let's get this passed around, folks - these people in Washington have brought this upon themselves! It's time for retribution. Let's take back America.

Aid to Countries

The United States is fiscally broke and can't help our own seniors, veterans, orphans, homeless etc.

Yet, we have a benefit for the people of Haiti on 12 TV stations, ships and planes lining up with food, water, tents, clothes, bedding, doctors and medical supplies.

In the last month we have provided aid to Haiti, Chile, and Turkey.

Our retired seniors living on a fixed income receive no aid or get any breaks while our government and religious organizations pour hundreds of millions of dollars and tons of food to Foreign Countries!

We have hundreds of adoptable children who are shoved aside to make room for the adoption of foreign orphans.

USA, a country where we have homeless without shelter, children going to bed hungry, elderly going without needed meds and mentally ill without treatment.

Imagine if the government gave us the same support they give to other countries.
